  • The College has been established by Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal under Public Private Partnership in joint venture with Government of Gujarat. The college has been established after an MOU has been signed between Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal and Government of Gujarat, where in Government of Gujarat has allotted a Land admeasuring 16,000 sq.mts in Civil Hospital Premises of Gandhinagar on a long term lease of 35 years at an annual lease rental of Re.1.
  • In turn Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal has made a donation of Rs.1 crore towards “Rogi Kalyan Samiti” of Civil Hospital Gandhinagar and the students being admitted will get to use the facilities of Civil Hospital, Gandhinagar for their training as long as the college is in operation. The college has been approved by Indian Nursing Council and Gujarat Nursing Council.
  • The College is named in memory of Smt. Chanchalben as per wishes of Shri Mafatbhai Patel of Patel Brothers, USA her husband who has donated an amount of Rs.1.76 crores. The college is situated in the Civil Hospital Premises of Gandhinagar which is very opposite to the Gandhinagar Bus Stand in Sector 12.

    • The Department of Medical Surgical Nursing aims to offer comprehensive training to undergraduate and postgraduate students based on the philosophy that students need to be well informed not only in knowledge and skills but also in the upcoming scientific advances in different areas of clinical practices so as to enable them to face new challenges and opportunities in various health care settings.
    • Department of Obstetrics and Gynecological nursing policy is directed toward the provision of quality professional services and performs the task holistically with reference to the women, neonates and their families.
    • The department of Psychiatric nursing aims to impart quality education in the field of Mental Health Nursing to Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Nursing students providing quality care in the areas of Preventive, Promotive, Curative and Rehabilitative aspects of Mental Health nursing.
