As one of the Gujarat State’s top education trust, Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal has created positive change at home and abroad for more than a century. Today our four major campuses—in Kadi , Gandhinagar Sector – 12, 15 & 23—attract, nurture and transform more than 50,000 students from accross the state and 10+ countries around the world.

SVKM and KSV constituient institutes are spread across various campuses. We have huge campuses in Kadi, Gandhinagar Sector- 12,15 & 23.
SVKM trust provides residential facilities to its teaching and non-teaching employees. In the midst of greenery campuses in both Kadi and Gandhinagar, the quarters are made available for the staff. The quarters are well-furnished and connected by road. The quarters are provided with water supply and electricity. These are renovated periodic intervals.
Allotment to Family quarters is strictly based on the quarter allotment rules of the SVKM Trust as amended from time to time.
How To Apply
Application in the prescribed format may be forwarded to the Hon.Chairman/Registrar/Campus Dirctor through proper channel. The allotment is on the basis of service seniority and availability of vacant units.
Family Quarters
The Family Quarters is strictly meant for the family accommodation of the Staff member. The eligibility of each type of quarters is primarily based on the salary group to which the employee belongs and the service seniority within the salary group.
Safety arrangement is given the utmost importance in order to ward off any occurrence of untoward incidents. At night, safety and security is maintained through the patrolling by the personnel security wings of the University. The residents have easy access to the market for their daily needs. The dwellers can avail medical facility in the campus and ambulance facility is also provided during the time of their emergency.
We have several guest houses in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Kadi.

Hundreds of schools, colleges and universities across the country have adopted tobacco-free policies in keeping with a growing movement that spans both private and public sector areas to restrict exposure to toxic and human cancer-causing substances.
It is important that everyone participate in the establishment and maintenance of our tobacco-free campus. This shared enforcement responsibility will ensure a healthy environment for all of us, as well as reduce the hazards, accidental fires, and costs associated with the disposal of discarded tobacco products. Please read and review the SVKM tobacco free policy to ensure that you are following the specific guidelines.
The Tobacco Intervention Initiative (TII) is a professionally-led “call to action” programme to eradicate tobacco addiction while striving for a ‘tobacco free India’ and thus improving the oral health of Indians by the year 2020.
SVKM’s Department of Transportation Services is committed to providing customer-driven resources which help our students with their daily transportation needs.
We provide transport facility to its day scholars on nominal charges through its self owned luxurious buses. The buses ply on different routes of the city to pick and drop the students from various areas. The students are spared the difficulty of commuting to the respective institutes by public transport. This also contributes to inculcating an element of punctuality among the students. There are separate buses plying for the staff……..

Our well equipped auditoriums for Cultural and various other activities like Convocation, Stage Shows etc., This double tiered hall which has a warm, old world ambience but is nevertheless equipped with the latest technology is still the perfect venue for gatherings with excellent acoustics can accommodate upto 3000 attendees.
The Campus Security team protects the wellbeing of people and the security of property around the clock through a variety of measures, both on and off campus.
The primary objective for Campus Security is to keep everyone within the campus community free from harm and the threat of harm. We do this through ensuring we have sufficient resources to be able to react quickly when responding to calls for help, and also by being able to provide pro-active advice and reassurance, when needed.
